No way, Jose´

 The average person emits 20.4 metric tons of Co2 per year. According to Carbonfootrpint.com I produce 100.4 metric tons. I refuse to believe this, my results have to be fraud. My brilliant theory is that Carbonfootprint is boosting the results to persuade people into trying to be greener. This is wrong, isn’t it?

            On one hand people shouldn’t be intentionally deceived no matter the cause. But if it could potentially make a huge impact in protecting our deteriorating ecosystem is it so bad?  The question of my results has left me in a jam. Was I even dooped or am I just being too suspicious? Even if my hypothesis has a hint of truth to it, how would I go about proving it.? I must have missed the Algebra 1 lesson when we learned how to calculate our emissions because I have no idea.

            Unfortunately, no matter what the real answer is it will have little effect on how much Co2 I produce.  Going green is expensive and as a freshman college student on my own budget after food, gas, and all the fresh threads I can cop, there just isn’t enough of the extra cash flow needed. So, I am truly sorry mother Earth but for the time being I will have to be the Co2 producing monster that I am.

Introduction

Hey everybody my name is Bryan. I am very excited to have composition 1 with all of you this year. I feel lucky to have a class with so many diverse cultures and I am eager to learn from each one.  I am 18 with a major in marketing and have yet to make any future plans except to be independent and happy. I love sports and enjoy playing almost all of them. In High school I played basketball, soccer, and tennis, and even ran some hurdles in track. I was captain of both the basketball and the tennis team so you could say I like to be a leader. I also love to snowboard. It is definitely one of the passions in my life. The feeling of conquering Mother Nature while gliding over untouched powder is unlike any other. Unfortunately, Florida is just a bit too close to the equator to let any snow drop. Another passion I have is for music. I enjoy a plethora of genres from rock, to reggae, rap, techno, and very rarely even some country.  Recently I have become very interested in electro/electro dubstep. The artists produce sounds that I have never heard before and make then come together to make a great tune with a unique sound. I also love riding roller coasters (although they still terrify me.) My first rollercoaster ride was two years ago. I had just moved to Naples, FL and didn’t have any friends. These two kids who later became two of my best friends invited me to go to Islands of Adventure with them and I was ecstatic to finally hang out. What I didn’t realize was that the first ride I would be forced to go on was this huge flipping coaster called the Hulk. So there I was, at a crossroad. I either had to suck it up and face my fear or look like a huge sissy. I chose the first and it ended being one of the most fun rides of my life so if any of you want to go on an adventure to a Theme Park, I’m down! I guess all that’s left to say is that I look forward to having a great year with all of you and if you need anything I’m happy to help.
